This Privacy Policy applies to the Video Checklist Pro mobile application and related services operated by JULIA BIRD LTD (collectively, the “Application”). In this policy, JULIA BIRD LTD is referred to as the “Service Provider”, “we”, “us”, or “our”.
What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?
The Application does not require you to create an account and is not designed to collect, log, sell, or store personal information directly when you download and use it.
When the Application is used with an active internet connection, limited technical data may be transmitted automatically as part of normal network communications. This can include an ephemeral IP address, device and operating system information, language settings, date and time of a request, and basic diagnostic information. We do not use this information to build advertising profiles or to track you across apps or websites.
User content, videos, and device permissions
Depending on the features you choose to use, the Application may request access to your camera, microphone, photos, videos, or device storage. These permissions are used only to let you select, record, review, organise, save, export, or share checklist-related media.
Media and checklist content you create or select is intended to remain on your device unless you deliberately export or share it using a feature provided by your device or another service. You can review or withdraw permissions at any time in your device settings. Some features may not work after a permission is withdrawn.
Does the Application collect precise real-time location information?
No. The Application does not collect precise real-time location information from your mobile device.
Third-party services and disclosures
We do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes. Information may be processed by app stores, operating-system providers, hosting or infrastructure providers, or services you choose to use when exporting or sharing content. Those third parties process information under their own terms and privacy policies.
We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, the Service Provider, or others.
Data retention
Because the Application is not designed to collect or store personal information on our servers, we generally do not retain user content. Content stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, clear the Application’s data, or uninstall the Application.
Where limited technical or support information is received, it is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide support, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, or resolve disputes, and is then deleted or anonymised.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the nature of the information we process. However, no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, operating-system account, backups, and any third-party service through which you choose to share content.
Children’s privacy
The Application is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
Your choices and privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability, and the right to complain to a competent data-protection authority.
Because we generally do not maintain user accounts or directly store user content, we may not be able to identify information associated with you unless you provide enough details for us to locate it. We may need to verify your identity before responding to a rights request.
